HELPcare Clinic: Norman Rockwell meets The Jetsons

That's the type of experience we plan to create for our members of HELPcare and for those who become patients at HELPcare Clinic.
Friendly, caring, personal relationships never go out of style.
At HELPcare Clinic you won't be a number.
You'll get to know your doctor or other provider and he or she will know you, too.
Appointments will be unhurried, unless you're pressed for time.
The standard scheduled appointment will be an hour. You won't be limited to a single concern per appointment.
Because HELPcare Clinic is membership-based, we can focus on meeting your needs instead of generating additional appointments for insurance billing.
Here's how our founder, Dr. David Strobel, envisions the HELPcare Clinic experience:
HELPcare and HELPcare Clinic members also will have access to coaches who can guide and support them in making lifestyle changes to promote health and address underlying causes.
Space-Age Technology
At the same time, HELPcare and HELPcare Clinic will take full advantage of technology in a way that enhances personal relationships instead of putting distance between people.
We'll have an online portal and patient app, but it will be for your convenience, not a substitute for personal conversations.

When The Jetsons debuted in 1962, the idea of a videophone that enabled George to talk to (and see) Jane from the office - and Mr. Spacely to interrupt family dinners - seemed as fanciful as flying cars.
Today Skype, FaceTime, Zoom and countless other platforms make face-to-face conversations possible anywhere in the world.
HELPcare will employ this technology for group coaching sessions, and if it's most convenient for patients HELPcare Clinic will offer video visits and secure text messaging to enable timely communication.
We've already produced several learning modules to make Dr. Strobel's in-depth explanations of important health topics available to our entire community. These also will make the face-to-face appointments more effective, as patients will be able to ask questions to understand better.
And when they get home, they'll be able to review the videos with their families so they all can have a common understanding.
As a HELPcare Clinic patient, you can have your data from a wireless bathroom scale, blood pressure cuff, smart watch or other devices imported into your medical record to help inform your provider's recommendations.
The Best of Both
We sense a thirst for a type of health care that's affordable, personal and effective.
That uses technology in a smart way to serve people.
That helps people take charge of their own health so they can prevent and even reverse disease through lifestyle changes.
For a provider who listens to your concerns and offers options and advice.
Who looks for underlying causes instead of treating each health issue separately.
Who understands that your health is ultimately your decision.
If this vision appeals to you, I hope you will learn more about your options with HELPcare Community and HELPcare Coach.
And if you can come to Austin, Minnesota for care I hope you'll consider becoming a member of HELPcare Clinic.
