Our Founders:

Lee Aase was the founder of Mayo Clinic's industry-leading social media programs, including the Mayo Clinic Social Media Network and Mayo Clinic Connect. In 2016, Lee and his wife, Lisa, became concerned about their health status and embarked on a journey of exploration that led them to restore their metabolic health.

Lee took early retirement from Mayo Clinic in 2021 to found HELPcare LLC, which provides management services and support for clinics bearing the HELPcare Clinic name. Follow Lee on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.

David Strobel, M.D., Medical Director, has more than 30 years experience as a family physician and geriatrician with a focus on teaching patients so they can take action to protect, preserve and restore their own health.

In February 2022 Dr. Strobel began practicing in the first HELPcare Clinic in Austin, Minnesota to provide unhurried, unlimited primary care based on a membership model instead of the expensive, inefficient insurance system.
