The Fall 2026 HELPcare Herald Is Here

Cover Story: More Room to HELP You

A year after we opened in Austin, we started in Rochester in 2023 in a single room in a chiropractor's office. Over three years, we gradually leased more space as our membership grew.

Then last January Rochester Motor Cars and Active PT began providing membership to employees and dependents on their health plans. Our Rochester membership more than doubled, to about 700 members.

Three rooms wouldn't be enough anymore.

So we're moving from 2150 Second St. SW to the Haley Center (formerly Shopko North) at 3708 N. Broadway, Suite 105, near 37th Street, between Chip Shots and Active PT.

We're building out 3,000 square feet now, with 2,000 more for future growth. Inside: four exam rooms (we have one today), a consultation room, a full lab, a procedure room and a nurses' station. Construction is expected to be complete in December.

The building is changing. The model isn't.

  • Use Your HSA for HELPcare (page 3). Premier and Basic are designed to qualify as direct primary care service agreements under Internal Revenue Code Section 223, so people with high-deductible health plans can use HSA funds for membership, within applicable limits. • Why Repeat Lab Testing Matters (page 3). A lab result is a snapshot. Follow-up testing shows whether your plan is working.
  • More Care for Every Dollar (pages 4–5). Our white paper, The ROI of HELPcare, found that 20 employers paid $771,720, and their members received care with an estimated value of $1,427,390 to $2,062,887. That's $1.85 to $2.67 in care for every $1 invested.
  • Meet Sara Persinger, DNP (page 5), who wants to walk with patients "upstream," and Karen Popp, CNP (page 7), who focuses on adult and geriatric patients.
  • HELPcare PayGo (page 6). No monthly fee, no commitment, and transparent prices.
