Founding Member Pricing Ends Saturday

HELPcare Clinic opened in Austin on Feb. 1 to provide unlimited, unhurried primary care services through an affordable membership.

Since then, we've offered special Founding Member pricing to those who have joined early to support this health care alternative:

  • $99 per month for a Single membership (regular price will be $149/month)
  • $179 per month for Couples (regularly $249)
  • $249 per month for Families (regularly $349)

We offered these 28-33% reductions to Founding Members because the services weren't as complete or convenient as they will be in a couple of months:

  • Dr. Strobel has only been in the clinic Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings
  • Members needed to travel to Bloomington for their included laboratory test blood draws, or wait until we had the HELPcare Clinic lab approved and established, and
  • The planned dispensary for generic medications isn't yet available.

They also have provided important feedback and ideas to help us shape the services offered. HELPcare Clinic is better now because of their input!

Founding Members will continue to receive those same percentage reductions from the regular price as long as they remain members of HELPcare Clinic. So if due to inflation the regular membership prices need to increase, the increase for Founding Members prices will be proportionally less.

We're grateful that 295 Founding Members have joined in less than two months!

You can still qualify for the Founding Member rate if you sign up through Saturday, April 2. Here's how:

  • Use our online application form
  • Call HELPcare Clinic at 507-279-2345, or
  • Sign up in person at 308 4th Ave NW in Austin. We're open 8-5 weekdays and 8-noon on Saturday.

If you sign up this week and pay for the year in advance, you save an additional 16%. That's 12 months for about the price of 10!

Early Bird rates start April 4

We're still improving the HELPcare Clinic experience, so after the Founding Member phase is done we'll be offering Early Bird discounted rates:

  • $119 per month for Single
  • $199 per month for Couples
  • $279 per month for Families

We're offering these 20-23% savings during this Early Bird phase because Dr. Strobel is continuing his transition from the Pipe Trades clinic and isn't yet seeing patients full-time in Austin. The dispensary also isn't starting until June.

But we're making improvements: In April Dr. Strobel will add some Wednesdays to the Thursday-Saturday schedule, and in May his appointment schedule will expand further. Blood draws for lab tests will begin at the clinic in Austin next week.

Early Bird pricing reflects this improved availability of services as compared to the Founding Member stage, while recognizing that it's still not yet what members will be getting in June.

Like the Founding Member discounts, percentage discounts for Early Bird members also will continue as long as they remain members of HELPcare Clinic.

We expect the regular pricing to be in effect starting June 1, or when the dispensary becomes operational.

So you can still save significantly if you join by June 1, or save even more by joining this week.
