Dr. Dave Strobel is Full-Time at HELPcare Clinic!
I’m pleased to announce that as we're grown to more than 500 members, Dr. Dave Strobel is now working full-time at HELPcare Clinic in Austin and Rochester!
Since February 2017, Dr. Dave has been employed by the Pipe Trades Family Health & Wellness Centers. A Saturday morning coffee conversation I had with him in October 2019 based on his experience at that clinic led to us to conceive what has become HELPcare Clinic.
When we opened HELPcare Clinic in Austin on Feb. 1, Dr. Dave was still working at the Pipe Trades clinic four days per week, Monday through Thursday, and saw HELPcare Clinic patients on Fridays and Saturday mornings.
As membership grew, he gradually cut back from his Pipe Trades clinic work and began seeing patients in Austin on Thursdays, and then on Wednesdays.
In May, Stephanie Kimmes joined the practice as pediatric and family nurse practitioner, working about two days a week, and by Sept. 1 we were seeing patients every weekday in Austin, as well as Saturday mornings.
Meanwhile, Dr. Dave continued with the Pipe Trades clinic on Mondays in Rochester and Tuesdays in Eagan. Tuesday was his last day with that organization, and this photo shows him about to leave the Eagan clinic for the last time as an employee.

We’re grateful that Dr. Dave has been able to have this gradual transition to full-time with HELPcare Clinic as membership has grown. And now that he’s full-time, it creates two more days a week for him to see patients.
As we open HELPcare Clinic Rochester Jan. 9, Dr. Dave will begin with in-person appointments on Mondays. Soon after that, Stephanie will add Tuesday appointments in Rochester. Dr. Dave will be in Austin Tuesdays through Saturday mornings.
We're glad that Dr. Dave is now full-time with HELPcare Clinic!
