Dr. Dave Explains: Grains and Inflammation

In today's video, Dr. David Strobel shares a personal story of how cutting grains out of his diet entirely helped him to deal with a long term health struggle.

Grains like wheat, rice, corn, and others contain proteins such as gliadin that can cause systemic inflammation, which can manifest in a wide assortment of health issues ranging from the Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) that Dr. Dave spoke of, as well as heart disease and arthritis. It may even impact mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.
