What to Expect When You Join

You can sign up for membership online, or call 507-279-2345 to either join over the phone or schedule a time to meet in person.

Then we’ll be in touch to schedule your first lab appointment and your first hour-long provider visit, and to invite you to set up your eTools accounts for convenient communication.

We’ll also prepare a personalized Welcome Packet with the forms you need to complete, such as a release for your records from previous providers and a medical and family history questionnaire. You can pick it up at our office, or we’ll send it to you by mail.

Our providers prescribe a standard set of blood tests for all new adult patients. You’ll need to fast at least 12 hours before your blood draw but be sure to drink plenty of water (black coffee is OK, too). You’ll also have an InBody body composition test.

With your HELPcare Clinic membership, the charge is $0.

Charges for these tests in the insurance-based system typically would be more than $1,400. With your HELPcare Clinic membership, the charge is $0.

Please bring your completed Welcome Packet forms to your lab appointment, so your provider can review your complete background before your first hour-long visit.

At this visit, equipped with your medical history and records as well as the results of your lab tests, your provider will be ready for an in-depth discussion of your health and your health concerns. Together, you’ll develop a plan for your next steps that’s consistent with your health goals and preferences.

A visit like this elsewhere would be coded as CPT 99244 and the charge would be as much as $596. With your HELPcare Clinic membership, the charge is $0.

By the time you’ve had your first appointment with your HELPcare Clinic provider, you’ll have received care that would cost about $2,000 in the inflated insurance-based system.

Far more than what you pay for a full year of HELPcare Clinic membership!

And if the plan you develop with your provider requires follow-up testing or scheduled appointments, those are included for $0, too.

Timely Care When You Need It

Besides high-value scheduled care, we also block time each day to help members with acute care needs. In the regular health care system, these appointments would run from $184 to $404. With your HELPcare Clinic membership, the charge is $0.
