Jon Boyer: HELPcare Clinic is ‘the best thing that has happened to this company since our conception’
Jon Boyer is the President of Precision Signs LLC, a sign industry leader in the upper Midwest based in Austin, Minn. Like many employers, Precision Signs had been unable to afford health insurance for employees, so when Jon heard about the corporate membership option at HELPcare Clinic, he was one of the first to jump at the opportunity.
It means a lot to me as far as staff; you've gotta take care of your people. It's something I have wanted for many years, so when it came around...I jumped on board pretty quick.
Personally, as a patient, I had a bit of a health issue come through that I would not have caught had I not had the membership because it didn't cost me any more to go in or not go in. I went in and found out it was something that needed to be addressed, and got it early, so personally it was huge, for me.
We staff about 40 people now, and so now from a company standpoint there's a lot of value there not only for attracting new employees, but caring for your employees, because healthy employees are also very productive.
(The scope of services) has been much more than I expected, so I'm a huge advocate for it. I can honestly say that it's the best thing that's happened to this company since our conception.

Through the HELPcare Clinic Corporate Membership program, employers who pay at least half of the monthly dues for their employees qualify for savings of 28-33% off the regular dues. To encourage employees to take advantage of HELPcare Clinic membership, Precision Signs pays 75%.
As Precision Signs has continued to grow, Jon is now eager to explore our new product called Health Insurance with HELPcare, which is offered through North Risk Partners. By including HELPcare Clinic membership as the cornerstone of their employer health insurance plan, companies can save 20% or more as compared with traditional plans. On a personal note, I want to thank Jon and Precision Signs for their early support both as members and in other practical ways. When we needed to procure exam tables and other equipment two years ago this month, Jon provided a vehicle and trailer so we didn't need to rent one.
And in December, when Lisa found a reception desk in Eagan on Facebook Marketplace, Jon again provided the truck and trailer we needed to haul it back to Austin.
This is a great example of how HELPcare Clinic members are more than just customers or patients: they're actively engaged in bringing a different health care experience to our communities.
