HELPing Patients Decide
Your health is ultimately your responsibility.
That doesn't mean your sickness is your fault.
You may have some genetic predisposition that inclines you toward illness or disease.
You may have encountered a virus or some environmental carcinogen.

Or you may have followed U.S. Dietary guidelines, which have coincided with a tripling of diabetes and obesity in a generation.
You may have taken well-intentioned advice that ultimately proved harmful.
But whatever your state of health is today, you are the one who is responsible for where you go from here.
Healthy lifestyle changes don't happen unless you make a decision, and unless you follow through.
That means you need both information to evaluate, and support to stay the course.
This is our fundamental belief at HELPcare.
While your health affects others, including your family, it's your life on the line. You are the one who needs to decide.
In HELP: The Health, Energy & Longevity Plan, Dr. David Strobel and I have identified 10 key elements that support a longer and healthier life.
We also offer educational modules to help you better understand how various body systems work.
Through HELPcare Community, we're providing a gathering place for people interested in taking charge of their own health, and in getting support and encouragement from peers.
HELPcare Coach gives you a guide for your journey, who's been down the path ahead of you.
And through HELPcare Clinic you also can get affordable, personal and effective health care that focuses on you.
HELPcare providers have the heart of a teacher, and our goal is to answer your questions and help you get the information you need to make your health care decisions.
We will offer advice and research-based recommendations, but ultimately, these medication and lifestyle decisions are yours to make.
If you live in Minnesota or can get here for an in-person appointment, I'm confident you'll love the HELPcare Clinic experience, which also includes HELPcare Community and HELPcare Coach.
Otherwise, we offer education and support services you can access remotely, to help inform your discussions with your health care provider.
As the responsible party, you are making decisions about your health every day, either consciously or by default.
If you want to be more intentional, we're here to HELP.
