Kim’s HELPcare Clinic Story

“I became aware of the existence of the HELPCare Clinic late last summer through a friend. I had been experiencing some physical symptoms that were frustrating and unresolved. For a long while I had been looking for more personal and comprehensive health care, wanting to find a 'primary' provider, who I could consult about my overall health and who, I hoped, would not only provide guidance but would also listen to my thoughts and perceptions about my health, who would value my lived experience. I have found this at HELPcare Clinic!

My first appointment was a more comprehensive physical than I have ever received. Not only did I find out a lot about my current health status, I was treated with more concern and respect than I ever have been in my adult life as a health care consumer. My primary provider, Elizabeth, has been patient, knowledgeable and has taken the time to address any health concerns that arise and has helped me to navigate some difficult health issues.
