Foundation

HELPcare Foundation has received 501(c)(3) non-profit status from the IRS. Its purposes are:

  • To provide a means by which low-income families and those faced with health disparities may receive membership to the HELPCare Clinic
  • To provide interpreter services to those members who are otherwise unable to communicate with staff
  • To provide low-interest loans to assist members with high-deductible insurance plans who are faced with immediate emergency and/or catastrophic health care costs
  • To provide health-related education to the community.

As its initial project, HELPcare Foundation has developed an application process for those who can't afford the full membership dues to apply for a partial scholarship.

Sources of funds for the scholarships will include:

  • Grants from foundations or government entities
  • Tax-deductible contributions from HELPcare Clinic members and others who support the mission of making unhurried, personal primary care available broadly on an affordable basis.

Applying for a Partial Scholarship
